The parish and the union; or, the poor and the poor laws under the old system and the new : being an analysis of the evidence contained in the twenty-two reports of the Select Committee of the House of Commons, appointed in the session of 1837, to inquire into the administration of the relief of the poor, under the orders and regulations issued by the commissioners appointed under the provisions of the poor law amendment act.
